I don't have pictures this time around but Kyle and Cortney both finished a half-marathon dure a Race to Remember for the Oklahoma Memorial Marathon. It was very cold and rainy for the marathon...with even hail luckily, that waited until after Kyle and Cortney were done. Awbrey and I watched the marathon from the warmth of our home. I know shame on me...but I have two little ones to think about. Kyle and Cortney were successful but I think Kyle came home with the best battle wound. He has a huge circle blood blister on the bottom of his foot. It is nasty and big! I am warning you if he offers to show you!
Awbrey was very proud of her dad and Cortney for running in the "big race" and was completely bewildered as to why all of those people were running in the rain! A question I am sure many of us had in the back of our minds!
So here is a little shout out to all of the runners in the Memorial Marathon! You guys rocked!
